Hamilton International Park announces £104 million expansion plans

Hamilton International Park, one of Scotland’s most sought-after business locations, has announced plans to invest £104m in the next phase of its development.

A further 319,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation will be built over the next three to four years by joint development partners HF Developments and AWG Property Limited, creating in excess of 2,500 jobs for the surrounding area.

Located in the heart of central Scotland, approximately 13 miles south east of Glasgow city centre, Hamilton International Park provides modern and flexible office accommodation, to local, regional and International businesses.

Over one million people live within a 15 mile radius of Hamilton International Park, providing access to a readily available and high quality workforce and the construction of over 1,000 new homes by Bryant homes further indicates the levels of growth and investment the area is experiencing.

The park already contains six office pavilions totalling some 260,000 sq ft, with a development value in excess of £74 million. Current tenants include HSBC, ICM, T-Mobile, Scottish & Universal and First Engineering Group Limited have chosen to relocate from Glasgow and base their new Scottish headquarters at the park, due to the excellent location and amenities.

The next phase of development will also see the development of a 13,784 sq ft retail hub, providing a wide range of leisure and retail facilities to both business park occupiers as well as the local community.

To date, the park has created over 3,500 jobs and this is set to increase with the ongoing development plans. The flexible office space enables companies to grow and expand, sourcing the best possible staff from the surrounding area.

Hamilton International Park is a joint venture between AWG Property Limited and HF Developments to develop over 400,000 sq ft (37,161 sq m) of specified Grade A offices. Phase I provides over 260,000 sq ft (24,154 sq m) to meet the requirement of modern businesses in Aspect House, International House, Campsie House, Kintail House, Prospect House and Kilpatrick House.
