Expansion Gathers Pace at Hamilton International

Park

Construction work is now underway on Fintry House, the latest addition to Hamilton International Park (HIP).

Enjoying a prominent position within one of Scotland’s most successful business parks, the 39,000 sq ft four-storey building will provide grade A flexible office space to suit a variety of needs. It is being constructed by Dawn Construction, with a projected completion date of March 2008.

A Chancery partnership investor syndicate purchased Fintry House, alongside sister property Fenick House, earlier this year for a combined total of £26 million, demonstrating the enduring attraction of HIP as both a business destination and an investment location.

William Hill, managing director of HF Developments, owner of Hamilton International Park, said: “It’s great to see construction get underway at Fintry House. We are entering a very exciting phase of development at the park and our commitment to providing office accommodation of the highest standard in an attractive environment, coupled with sustained investment, will ensure that we provide tenants with the ideal working environment.”

Other recent investment has included the development of a new £5.25m Retail Parade which will further enhance the range of amenities at the park, alongside improvements in public transport.

Top bakery group Greggs, House 4 Kids crèche, Lloyds Pharmacy, HSBC ATM facilities and Compliments Hair Beauty Salon are the first retailers to take space at the eagerly anticipated Parade, which will offer a wide range of leisure and retail facilities to both the business park occupiers and the local community when it opens for business in September.

Hill added: “What differentiates Hamilton International Park from many of our competitors is our desire to constantly improve our service offering and we are confident that future tenants will recognise that in addition to an array of top class amenities, HIP provides the ideal location for businesses hoping to locate in the heart of central Scotland.”

Approximately 13 miles South East of Glasgow, Hamilton International Park is served directly in both directions by the A725 East Kilbride expressway, providing quick and easy access to the M8 (Glasgow & Edinburgh) and the M74 (Carlisle & the South) motorway networks.

Cushman & Wakefield, DTZ, and Lambert Smith Hampton will act as joint letting agents for Hamilton International Park.
