Hamilton International Park Attracts New Tenants to Retail Parade
The Retail Parade at Hamilton International Park (HIP)
is rapidly taking shape with the first two units now reserved.
Leading bakery group Greggs and unisex hair and beauty salon, Compliments, have both announced that they will open
stores at the new £5.25 million Retail Parade.
It will be Greggs’ third store in the Hamilton area and the company is planning to introduce lots of new
ranges in the shop to celebrate the opening.
Compliments hair and beauty salon will offer a range of different treatments for those tenants looking for
some pampering to ease away the stresses of the working week.
Treatments will include, waxing, facials, manicures, sculptured nails
and an extensive skin care range using exclusive Dermalogica products. The salon will be open Monday to Sunday and will
stay open late on Thursday nights.
Ideally located on the corner of Technology Avenue and Hillhouse Road,
the 14,143 sq.ft Retail Parade – being developed by HIP owner HFD Group – will provide space for six retail outlets.
It will offer a wide range of leisure and retail facilities to both the business park occupiers and the local
community when it opens for business in September.
William Hill, managing director of HFD Group, said: “The overwhelming
success of our Retail Parade at Strathclyde Business Park convinced us that it was necessary to provide similar amenities at
Hamilton International Park to support our ever-increasing client base and workforce.
“We have been working extremely
hard to secure tenants and we are delighted that Greggs and Compliments have decided to open stores at the new Retail
Parade. They will be a great asset to the Park and will be warmly received by all of our employees and future companies
hoping to locate here. Construction work on the Retail Parade is now complete and fit out is underway with a view to
opening to the public in September.”
The eagerly anticipated Retail Parade
is part of Hamilton International Park’s phase two expansion plans to build a further 206,000 sq ft of high-quality
office accommodation space over the next three to four years, creating in excess of 2,500 jobs for the surrounding
area.
