O'Briens to Open New Store at Strathclyde Business Park

Leading sandwich shop O'Briens have concluded a 15 year lease at the highly successful Retail Parade at Strathclyde Business Park (SBP).

To cater for SBP's ever increasing workforce, O'Briens will open a new 1688 sq ft store at the Avondale Parade. The outlet is scheduled to open it's doors to the Park employees and general public in November.

Situated in the heart of Avondale Campus, the Retail Parade provides tenants with a host of facilities and services.

Current occupiers include the Avondale Bar & Grill, Mr Bird's MYO Sandwich Bar, Jack & Jill's Day Care Nursery, Abbey National ATM Facilities and the Terminal 5 convenience store, which also provides tenants with photo processing, a dry cleaning service, prescription collection and a mobile phone repair service.

William Hill - managing director of HF Developments, owner of Strathclyde Business Park - said: “The Retail Parade at SBP has been a resounding success and a necessary resource for tenants based at the business park. We are delighted to welcome O'Briens to the bustling Retail Parade and I'm sure they will be a great asset to the park.”

In addition to the Retail Parade, Strathclyde Business Park has invested in a host of new services and amenities for its 5,500 strong workforce.

Recent investment has included the £6.2 million upgrading of the existing road infrastructure, the introduction of Project ATLAS, a new pilot scheme to upgrade the technology infrastructure for Scottish businesses, and the construction of several new buildings.

William continued: “We are committed to providing the best possible working environment for our park tenants and this means constantly investing and improving upon our offering.

“The continual development of the Retail Parade at SBP, the park's world-class infrastructure, prime central location, and our ability to go that extra mile for our tenants will ensure that we remain Scotland's leading business destination.”
