Hat Trick of Investment Sales for HF Developments Takes
This Year's Total at Hamilton to £82m In another major triumph for
HF Developments, a funding deal has been agreed to build a further 70,000 sq ft
facility at Hamilton International Park, with First Engineering, part of the Babcock
International Group, secured as tenant. The deal comes hot on the heels
of the recent investment sale of Ochil House, taking investment in Hamilton International
Park to £82m in the last 12 months. A Chancery Investor Syndicate has agreed
to purchase the building, which will be home to First Engineering's new training
facility, for £22.2m. William Hill, managing director of HF Developments,
said: "Yet again, Hamilton International proves to be the destination of
choice for both investment and occupation. We are delighted that First Engineering
are expanding their presence on the Park. "This project was exceptionally
complex and required the assistance of numerous parties to succeed. It goes without
saying that all involved are delighted to have succeeded." The last
two years have seen considerable investment in the Park by HF Developments, with
the completion of the Park's Retail Parade, assuming responsibility of the Park
Management, the expansion of serviced office space and provision of free bus travel
for tenants, alongside the construction of further office space. Work will
begin on-site this month, with the facility scheduled to open in early 2009. The
Chancery Partnership were represented by Lambert Smith Hampton, with HF Developments
self represented. Ends Notes
